My Mom's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are the cookies my kid's and Braun crave and when Braun's not making them, I'm usually the one cooking these bad boys up! Made to be a dupe of Mrs. Field's original Chocolate Chip Cookies, these are guaranteed to please even the snobbiest chocolate chip cookie connoisseur!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Butter
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1.5 Cups Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Salt
  • 5-6 Cups Flour (until dough is stiff)
  • 2 pkgs. Guittard Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions
 

  • Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt
  • Mix together sugars and butter and mix until creamed together
  • Add in eggs and vanilla
  • Mix in dry ingredients
  • Mix in chocolate chips
  • Bake @ 350 just until the tops crack!
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
