3 products I can’t live without? Sounds dramatic, right? But if you have ever tried to get 4 kids ready for school, you’re already 20 minutes late, your girls have long hair and act as if they’ve never seen a brush, and you’re looking a little haggard – you know that anything that makes that morning even the slightest bit better is worth its weight in gold!
And these aren’t just products that save school mornings. They are products that I’ve had as long as I can remember. And the thing is, as many times as I find another product that says it does the same thing, I always come back to these tried and true favorites. It’s like the $3 aerosol hairspray that people swear by – sometimes you just have to stick with an old favorite.
Here are mine:
1) ELTA MD Tinted SPF 40
As women, we all go through that period where we’d rather get hit by a MAC truck than leave the house without wearing makeup. It usually isn’t a vanity thing (though, if it were, who cares?), but an extra step that gives us a small boost of confidence. These days, I get ready because it helps me get through the day better. But on those rare occasions where I dare to go bare, there is one product I refuse to go outside without wearing: sunscreen.

Some girls have Lip Smackers. Others, like me, have worn Burt’s Bees as long as I can remember.

3) It’s A 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner
Emery’s got insane curls happening. I have horsehair. We have hair issues at our house. But It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner makes it all a little more manageable.
