Dips you’ll love this season

Partnership with Walmart

It’s no secret that I don’t cook or bake a lot… when I do it’s usually the yummiest of my tried and true favorites and they don’t stick around long enough for me to take a pic (as seen with the meatballs from my stories!), buuuut I grabbed a few photos of one of my all time favorite dips that I think you’ll love this Holiday Season, in fact, I already have my Walmart cart loaded to check out with the ingredients I’ll need to make them again for delivery for when we get to St. George over Thanksgiving!!

Step one is obviously grabbing the most adorable serving dishes possible, at an affordable price. I came across these Thyme & Table dishes from Walmart online and instantly fell in love!! You guys know that black and white, with gold accents steals my heart 10 out of 10 times. The patterns on these sets are so adorable. I’ll link a bunch of them below. You can get them all in full dinnerware sets, too (I reeaaaallly love the polka dots!!). You’ll for sure want that cute 9×13″ pan for my second recipe!!

Recipe 1: Cranberry-Jalepeno Cream Cheese Dip

Honestly there are probably a million recipes for this out there, I’ve tried them so many different ways and then I always add my own twist.. so here’s how I do it! 🙂 You can skip to the recipe HERE if ya want.

Gather all FRESH ingredients and spices. I like to chop the cranberries and green onions first, but that’s honestly up to you. I cannot stress this enough, do NOT use frozen stuff for this dip. It’s not the same, and you’ll definitely regret it. You’ll need:

Fresh Cranberries

Green Onions (don’t even buy pre-chopped!)

Cilantro

Jalepeno

Silicone Mixing Spoon (similar)

Then add the sugar, salt, spices + lime juice! Mix it all together.

Sugar

Ground Cumin

Lime, or Lime Juice… I use one whole lime!

Salt

Chop it all up!! I just used a hand chopper, this one would work the same! You could totally use a food processor, this one is great + on sale, and when I polled favorite kitchen gadgets – this chopper was in there soooo many times! After it’s all chopped, cover it and put it in the fridge for at leasssttt four hours.

Food Processor/Chopper options at every price point:

Serving Bowl

After your mixture has sat for four hours minimum, it’s time to put it all together! 🙂 Transfer your cream cheese blocks into a serving bowl and top with your mixture! Serve with chips or crackers.

You’ll need:

Cream Cheese

Chips or Crackers for Dipping – these late July chips are GF and the yummiest!!

Recipe 2: Hot Spinach + Artichoke Dip

Kitchenaid Mixers

I have basically noooo photos of this one, ughhhh haha. I get so busy making it I forget, and then it’s completely gone when I serve it! haha. One of the best things to make this with is a Kitchenaid. It’s the best for mixing up all of the ingredients initially, and then you gently fold in the spinach and artichoke. Here’s the recipe… I double it and bake in a 9×13″ pan like this cute one!!

For this recipe, you’ll want:

cheese grater + garlic peeler + garlic press… I found this peeler and press set

Ninja Foodi Oven

You won’t need this for anything related to the recipes unless you make your own chips or something, but this is such a handy kitchen gadget! We love it + it’s available at Walmart!! 🙂

Don’t forget that you can easily get all of these things ordered online for pickup (they’ll put it right in your car!) or for delivery. Both food + any bakeware or dinnerware you’ll need from Walmart online. It’s the best, especially if you’re a last minute gal or if you’re flying in for thanksgiving like us. You’ll have to let me know if you try them, what you think! 🙂
