Oh, Amazon. There are some days where I feel like I keep you in business.
But you keep me in gadgets I didn’t know I needed at prices that don’t make me want to vomit…so I guess we’re even.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved a good purchase. I’m not talking about the perfect white ‘T’ or a pair of flip-flops (although, I do love those). I am talking about those life-changers that people who were fed up with the way something worked invented.
And when it comes to tech, I just like how small and organized everything keeps getting. So every month, just like I do on Instagram, I’m going to share what I find. The good, the bad…I’ll save you from the ugly. But this list of my faves will be available every month!

30W PIQ 3.0 & GaN Tech Power Delivery USB C Charger
I'm nothing if not all about convenience. I am constantly on the hunt for things that make my life easier...or in this case, does double duty and saves my arms too! Mac battery cords etc are the heaviest thing in the world!. But this Itty bitty computer charger is a dream, is so light, and fits into my Anker portable computer charger case perfectly!
I'm calling this the Tanning Sleepy Sack (came up with that one by myself...it shows) and this purchase was brought to you in part by the Grand Canyon. Sometimes the most genius #lifehacks happen at the most random times. Enter -> me sleeping on this while hiking the Grand Canyon and realizing that sleeping in this after I spray tan solves my post-spray gross sheets problem! If you've ever gone to bed right after getting your tan on, you know the struggle! I'm seriously am ticked I didn't think of this sooner, I could've saved so many good sheet sets!
Sweatbands Sports Headband/Wristband for Men & Women
Julia from chrislovesjulia.com is a genius. And I don't use that word lightly. How many times have you washed your face and not only is your face soaked but you're living the real-life reality of a Neutrogena commercial and everything from your hairline down is also soaked + your entire bathroom is now in an inch of water? I'm raising my hand. But water is no longer running down my arm. Thanks to these babies! Yes, you look like you're about to hit the squash courts but the reality is, you're saving everything from your neck down from getting wet. These sweatbands stop water from running down your arms when you're washing your face. Hopefully, I've given them to my daughters at a young enough age that they don't have to suffer for as many years as I did!
This is hands down one of Dash’s favorite books and the most recent one just came out! Anything I can do to foster a love of reading in my children (including buying books about dog heroes) is worth it!
The first rule of photo storage: Don't store them on your internal hard drive. Second rule of photo storage: Don't talk about pho...I'm kidding! Everyone should be talking about and sharing more about photo storage. Or digital storage. Period. Keeping these types of files in an external hard drive will keep your computer clean and running fast! Plus, it allows you to organize your photos and other media files...and everything else you might want to keep on there. Plus, it's compact (the side of a small matchbook) and is a SSD...which means it has no moving parts and is super quiet!
Is it a bird? A plane? No, it's better. It's a reusable diaper for your dog when she's in heat. Gross? Yes. Necessary? Also, yes. Inexpensive? Heck yeah! I already put 4 human babies through diapers. I'm saving for college funds. Any money I can save on doggie diapers are necessary and if you've ever had a dog in heat, the mess is minimal and it's totally not a big deal. These things pay for themselves.
We've got a Hatch Baby for the boys but Emery and Anisten will have none of it. They're practically adults and moments away from going into massive amounts of school debt, marrying young, making bad choices, and getting something pierced. Again, kidding. That's just my overexaggerated way of saying that my girls are moving away from the kiddie stuff and want things in their room that are more representative of the tweens that they are. These Echos are awesome because they display the time, the girls use them to set their morning alarms, and they can video call, message, check their calendar, the weather, listen to audiobooks, or their favorite songs on this thing. It's really convenient, affordable, and perfect for their ever-changing lives! Plus, you can save $30 when you buy two!
Fact: I fully believe pancakes are the reason I lost the "Freshman 15" weight I put on before I married Braun. But that, my friends, is a story for another day. Back to the matter, or should I say batter, at hand! I've had to eat gluten-free for 8 years now and this gluten-free mix cannot be beat. Even if you eat gluten, it really is so dang good. I use this to make everything - banana bread, pancakes, waffles, my topping for chicken pot pie, the list goes on and on.
I may be tired or battling allergies or only gotten 2 hours of sleep...but I don't want to LOOK like it! I have been a redness-reliever-eyedrops-wearer for years but only recently did I switch to these. Thanks to you guys, I was able to get educated about the negative effects of a LOT of different red-eye drops. But these? These are the good guys. Plus, they work! If you get red or tired eyes like me, I suggest you give these babies a whirl!
Remember the days of crumpled old brown bag lunch sacks that housed a crushed sandwich, a sweaty Capri Sun, and some destroyed Doritos? Kids these days will never know the struggle. I bought one of these for each of my kids, and a couple for Braun and I as well! They’re great for school lunches because they’re leakproof and keep things cool, and also great for throwing a meal in to eat on the go! Comes in a couple versions - one with a space big enough for a sandwich and another with smaller compartments for a deconstructed meal if sandies aren’t your jam!
If you give a mouse a cookie, he's gonna want a glass of milk to go with it. Just like if you give your kid a Yumbox, your kid will definitely want an icepack to go with it. Warm lunch (that isn't supposed to be warm) is the pits. Lunchtime at school is iffy anyway. Who are they going to sit with? Do they have the right food? Warm lunch on top of that? Um, no thanks. Plus, because these are made by Yumbox as well, they fit perfectly!
Little Letters for Lunch: Keep it Short and Sweet (Lunch Notes for Kids, Letters to Kids, Lunch Notes Book)
If you haven't yet discovered the magic that is leaving a note in your kid's lunchbag or box, these little letters for lunch will help. They're small little notes that fold up and seal - so your kid can have a magic moment at school opening a secret message meant just for them. And school (at any age) is tough. Regardless of your kid's school experience, a little note from mom is bound to put a smile on their face.
Now there are more than 31,000 of you who have purchased these shirts for your man! Once again, we had to order a few more after Braun wore a few of his out this summer. And at this price? You can afford to ruin a few. They're super soft, extremely comfortable, and they fit so well! Dad bod not included.
