Finding Your Signature Jewelry Style

Look in your closet right now and you’ll likely find some version of the essential wardrobe building blocks that everyone has: a boyfriend jean, a classic ankle boot, a LBD. These are the wear-every-day pieces I’ve happily invested in (in multiples!) knowing that they’ll come in clutch time and time again. Over the past year or so though, I’ve turned my eye toward my jewelry collection and making sure I have the right pieces that will serve me the same way.

I’ve really tried to buy pieces that define my signature style. And if something is going to become recognizably you, it’s worth making sure it’s really, well, you. Are you more classic, or do you prefer something that’s ahead of the game? Whichever vibe you’re after, you need to be sure it’s represented in each staple jewelry item you own.

My signature jewelry profile? Gold, colorful, high/low, mixed weights and textures – playful.

THE WRAP

The thing I love about a good wrap bracelet is its ability to look like so much more jewelry than it actually is! You can put one of these on and feel like you’ve put an entire stack on! Victoria Emerson has so many different options from classic wraps and freshwater pearls to double wraps and multi wraps – each with their own distinct vibe. They have pearls, stones, beads, and come in a number of different colors – all of which will help define your aesthetic!

TILA BRACELETS

Remember these glass tile bracelets from earlier this year? I fell in love with their color combinations! These ones are no longer available but they’ve been updated with seasonal colors and tones that would be gorgeous paired together or worn alone!

The Boho

One of my favorite bracelets are the boho bracelets. These are the ones to get if you’re looking for a heavy stacked look but only want to wear one piece of jewelry! I love wearing multiple bracelets but I hate when they all gather around the base of my wrist when my arm is down. But with the boho, the strands stay where they’re attached making your stack look awesome. They often combine natural elements like shell with stone, twine, and beads.
