Nordstrom Beauty Haul

  • Sponsored by Nordstrom & ShopStyle •

Most of my adult life has been spent being married, taking care of my kids, how to properly load the dishwasher, and upgrading my makeup. But, like all good things, there are a few brands and products that I have worn since high school. They’re tried and true gems that I have on hand and I recently grabbed a few more on a recent shopping trip to Nordstrom!

Mac Eyeshadows

When it comes to eyeshadow, almost no one has as many options as MAC. MAC was the first brand I ever spent any real money on and it’s a right of passage. This eyeshadow in the shade “Paradisco” has been a staple in my makeup bag for a long time!

I feel like buying MAC is a right of passage. Every good makeup stash has MAC in it. Their products are versatile and I love their shadows because they go on super smooth with little fallout!

And while I was in Nordstrom I did pick up a few more goodies that I wanted to show you guys because they’re sooo good!

Charlotte Tilbury

While I was walking around Charlotte Tilbury I was totally pulled in by this eyeshadow palette! I love palettes because I feel like you get more bang for your buck! And these colors are so great together. I was planning on picking up a specific lip liner and lipstick on the recommendation of one of you and decided I needed to give the Icon Palette a go!

And I don’t know about you but I feel like every person who sells makeup really knows their stuff. Their informative, super helpful when it comes to my questions (not a beauty know-it-all), and I seriously feel like I’m talking to an insider who is a walking Youtube!

One of the reasons I shop at Nordstrom is because of customer service and their makeup gurus are the same! They actually have an entire Beauty Services division where you can get personalized advice and handpicked products by a Beauty Stylist at your local store, free makeup lessons and consultations, brow and spa services, and in-store events. They were super helpful and I think when Emery and Anisten start wearing makeup I’m going to bring them in to get a tutorial on how to apply their makeup!

Haha, I almost forgot to tell you the lipliner and lipstick I picked up! When I posted about my recent lipsticks that I can’t get enough of, you guys sent me a million DMs saying I should try Pillow Talk in the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lipliner. I have to agree, it’s seriously one of the best lip liner colors I’ve ever used! I also picked up a Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in the shade “Penelope Pink”. I’ll keep you guys posted on how I like both of these after a few uses!

The last thing I picked up from Charlotte Tilbury is her Unisex Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer. You guys know I love me some faux glow and this stuff is legit!

It goes on as a white cream and develops fast enough for you to put it on and go! Again, I haven’t used it very long but I’ll let you know after I get back from Hawaii – I’ll do an update on my entire haul from this Nordstrom trip!

Jo Malone

And I did some perfume shopping for you! Ok, it’s really for me because you guys go on and on about how amazing these products are! I bought a TON so I could try them all and tell you which ones deserve your paycheck! Jo Malone candles have been a staple in my house for a while so if these perfumes smelled anything like those, I definitely wanted to try them!

You can shop my super cute sandals from Nordstrom HERE

so far I’m loving Enlish Pear & Freesia and the Blackberry & Bay! Honestly, they all smell so good! I have them packed for my trip and will be updating you when I do my blog post on my full haul!

There are so many good beauty picks at Nordstrom and one of my favorite ways to discover them is by going to their events, utilizing their Beauty Services and getting samples of products I want to try before I buy! And don’t worry – you can also take get up to 3 FREE samples when you’re purchasing online!
