Back in March, it was tough to anticipate what life would be like stuck in our homes under shelter-in-place restrictions. Now, fast forward to the five-month mark of quarantine and if you’re like my family, you’re dying to get out as much as possible! And that means wearing a mask or going out on your own where no one is around. But that doesn’t sound very fun! And if we’re going to be going out, we want to look cute! Which means finding face masks that not only do we have to wear, but that we want to wear.
Here are my top 10 picks for masks that are worth the money!

KID COTTON FACE MASKS | ADULT COTTON FACE MASKS
These are my OG masks and I can’t say anything bad about them because they’re literally $2 apiece! They fit well (if not a bit oversized) and they stay on the face without smooshing everything down. The straps are really comfortable and they have both adult and kid’s sizes!
2) AMAZON

Ok, not gonna lie, these are like putting a Speedo on your face. But it is the most comfortable speedo you will ever have on it. I promise. These masks are made of swimsuit material and don’t bother my skin near as much as others do. They are really comfortable and come in an assortment of colors. The only bummer is that you can’t pick your colors. Other than that, these are some of my favorites! 85% Nylon, 15% Spandex
3) CARAA SPORT
5 for $25
I haven’t tried these ones but out of all the ones I researched, these came back with the highest rating! 4.9 out of 5 stars and 508 reviews and most people talked about how comfortable they were, how cooling, and how they fit multiple sized people. I would guess because of the design and adjustable nature of the masks that they probably fit the entire family. Plus, they come in the coolest assortment of colors from pastels to black and white!
4) FRANK & BUCK

This is the mask for you if you’re really into breathing and feel a bit claustrophobic with a mask on! It’s super breathable and doesn’t cup your face as tightly as other masks. They’re great quality (as is everything they make) and are probably the cutest I’ve come across colorwise. They really knocked it out of the park with these! Use code TARA for 10% off your purchase!
5) ATHLETA

These come in various, gender-neutral colors and their adjustable fit makes them easily fit the whole family! Numerous reviewers mentioned that they fit every member of their family which is always nice! Plus they’re fairly breathable and come in a pack of 5. The material is similar to the material you’d find on some of their moisture-wicking shirts.
6) AMAZON
5 for $29.95
These cotton face masks have a pocket for a filter and come in a pack of 5. To be honest, I haven’t used a filter in any of my masks at this point but I like the option to use one. I know in areas that are densely populated or have fires, etc, have been really grateful for the option as well!
7) NORDSTROM
4 for $20
Nordstrom actually makes these masks and for every package sold, donates one to workers and their families – kinda cool! They’re washable and reusable double-layer masks that are snug to the face – they feel like a custom-fitting nose-to-chin mask that’s made out of comfortable jersey with a built-in cotton filter pocket. The ear loops can be tightened with the adjustable sliding straps that allow you to tie the mask behind the head for easy on and off.
8) Old Navy

OLD NAVY MASKS FOR ADULT AND KIDS
These masks are one of the least expensive on this list and I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about them. They come in a million different prints from animal to plaid and they have them for just about every occasion and season. They’ve got them for both boys and girls, kids and adults, and you can even buy them in bigger quantities if you need more!
9) ARTIPOPPE
2 for $54
These are the most expensive on this list but probably also the cutest? I’ve heard nothing but raving reviews about them and they look like they fit amazingly well. These masks are washable and have a filter pocket on the inside like some of the other masks on this list. What can I say? I’m a sucker for Leopard!
10) REEBOK
3 for $30
These are the masks that have piqued my interest the most! These promise to wick sweat away like a boss and they’re so popular that they can’t even keep them in stock! The next restock is on the 27th so if you’re like me, get this on your calendar and make sure you don’t miss it!
