I swear, the backpack is the hardest thing in our house to shop for.. remember the one Emery chose last year!? Hah. Anisten had the cutest target bag, and Em had the worst kids character bag from Walmart.. I mean, it was cute for the little kids it was designed for, but I guess it was the style for Em’s class last year. Hoping this year it’ll change 😂 I will say, for the $10, it lasted all year! Here are some of the cutest backpacks I’ve seen this year!!

Urban Outfitters – BDG Patchwork Corduroy Backpack.. Currently 25% off! The colors in this one are super cute. The interior is lined + it’s got a fun secret pocket.
Anthropologie – Kane Kids Mini Rainbow Backpack – it’s big enough to fit the 11″ laptops, a lunch box + the basic essentials for school. Not a great option if your kid has to lug around a ton of books and binders.
LL Bean is like THE maker of backpacks that will last your kid k-12.. This Mountain Classic School Backpack comes in a bunch of cute color ways. This is Glazed Ginger/Black. It’s geared more toward middle/high school but they also have a TON of other options and styles for pre-k through college!

Target – A New Day Mini Backpack – again, probably not ideal if your kid is older and has a ton of stuff to lug around (but my girls like to take a mini for personal items/small stuff and hold their books), but imagine this cute mini on a little!?
