Home Tour: Anisten’s Room

You guys have asked about this room so much that I finally got my crap together and have linked all of the resources for Anisten’s room! I did do a full blog post on just her decor but this is the official blog post to shop every single resource!

First things first, this incredible wallpaper is by Rocky Mountain Decals. This wallpaper is super simple to apply – simply peel off the backing paper and stick the wallpaper against the wall (No need for glue, paste or water).

And, it’s also super easy to remove – gently pull the panel away from the surface. No tools needed! However, it is recommended for smooth walls only! I think this is a great option if you’re living in a temporary or rented space![flex_row][/flex_row]

Anisten’s bed is World Market and we really love it. They have a few day bed/chaise lounge options and they definitely aren’t the options you’ll see at Ikea. I recommend becoming a member of World Market Rewards. You’ll be notified when they have all of their great sales!

Anisten’s side tables are a Target staple – but they’re always changing finishes or frames. They’re sturdy, functional, and don’t cost an arm and a leg! We also purchased her lamp at Target, however, I couldn’t find the exact one to link. I did find a really great substitute that I think still adds a bunch of character!

When we first built the house we just put the same ceiling lights in all the rooms (see top picture) but over time, we’ve had the chance to really personalize each space and this ceiling light from Anthropologie really helped bring her room together. (Also, this girl sleeps ON TOP of her made bed so she doesn’t mess it up. It cracks me up and is adorable all at the same time!)

If you’re looking for a rug like Anisten’s, you want to make sure you shop vintage bohemian + eclectic finishes (gives it that distressed look) on oriental patterns. Overstock is where I purchased a lot of the rugs in our home and they have a ton of gorgeous options!

And we haven’t left you without options! We put together some of the other items that were on our lists when we were sourcing everything:
