Swimwear is my JAM. I love finding new swimsuits that make me feel good and  cover up everything I want covered while still looking cute. Swimsuit shopping is like a fun treasure hunt for me. I don’t want ones that show too much cheek, go too low.. I need to be able to chase my kids around in them… they need to have fun prints… you know, the basic things that make it impossible to find one that you love! I am not a bikini girl so I won’t be sharing many of those but I do love when I find an awesome high waisted bottoms that I can pair with a cute bikini top! Here are some that I have my eye on this year and also a few that I already own. In my mind, you can never have too many cute swimsuits that you love.

My top places to buy swimwear are Nordstrom, Asos, Everything But Water, Anthropologie, Zappos, Shopbop, Amazon… Sometimes Backcountry too.

I will also warn you that I don’t buy very cheap swimwear. Last spring, I bought 21 swimsuits from Target. TWENTY ONE.  I blame it on #MarketResearch. I wanted to test my theory of them fitting as well as my nicer swimsuits so I ordered a big variety and tried them on on my instagram stories. Out of the 21 that I bought, TWO fit me right. Most of them had gaping areas in the legs, the boob area, they material was stretched out, etc. The two that I decided to keep, I wore a few times and they just don’t hold up near as well as my nicer swimsuits. I think that if you are a bikini wearer, it is easier to get cheaper swimsuits for sure. But good one piece swimsuits are a thing that I will splurge on. I want to be able to wear them for years to come!
