I’ve been shopping around trying to find some super cute stuff to use for Valentine’s Decor. I don’t love going crazy for holidays that aren’t really a season.. ya know?? But I like a little flair here and there to set the mood and celebrate with the kids. It’s a fine line. Valentine’s isn’t one I go all out with and I try to tie it in with spring-ish decor too. I haven’t committed to anything yet, but here’s what I’ve been eyeing.
The number one thing I do for sure buy for every holiday would be Geometry House towels.. I shared on instagram already, but I grabbed: Darling Dots + Girlfriend’s Gingham for Valentine’s Day. I really love having cute mantle decor above our fireplace and changing that out seasonally with holidays. Having staple items up on it and using garland and a few other trinkets is such an easy way to add character and theme without breaking the bank. I love the felt or wool ones above from Etsy. They’re way cute AND you get to support small businesses! The wool ones are so durable and will last you forever.

Another simple way to change up decor is to have seasonal signs in the same size that you can just take down and replace! I have a bigger sized one up on my mantle that I change out often. These are from Etsy (various small businesses) and I love that you can get them framed in various styles, or not, and also choose from a bunch of different size options. The shop that makes the love and xoxo one also has a home one, and a bunch of other “basics” that would be cute for when Valentine’s is over to use year round.

Another fun way to decorate is to get your kids involved!! These kits are each $5 from Target. The letters and hearts are good sized and it comes with everything they need to do the project. If you have paints of your own, they could even repaint year after year to change it up for you.

Adding pops of color to your normal decor by switching out candles is also a great way to change up your decor without splurging. Those pink candle sticks with the gold candle stick holders would be way cute!! I love having different heights and textures in my decor, and thought all of these candles together would be great.

Shop cute basics! Vases are great because you can always hit target, hobby lobby, or even the dollar store to change out the stems to seasonal colors or pieces. Those arches for sure need to find a way into my home, the pop of pink with the speckles is perfect for Valentine’s and spring.

Don’t be afraid to shop seasonal sections! Door mats, throw pillows, throw blanket + tiered trays with adorable seasonal decor are such an easy way to transform multiple spaces. Just those things could do my entry, living room + kitchen quickly!! Etsy has adorable tiered tray decor which also works great for mantle decor, too!
