If you’re an avid visitor to the blog, you know that I cover anything and everything here. But the other day, I was asking all of you for your recommendations for no-show boy socks and I was surprised by how many of you asked me to share the responses.
Even more surprising? Over half of you asked me to share where I shop for my boys. And as I looked at my content over the past few years and searched content across the web, boy’s fashions and clothing just aren’t given the coverage that girl’s fashion is.

IT’S ALL ABOUT COMFORT
My boys couldn’t care less about the clothes other boys are wearing and the colors are even less important. All they want is clothing that is comfortable. It literally took me a year and a half to hunt down pants that were soft enough to convince Dash to wear them over sweatpants. As you can see, we are still big fans of athleisure wear, but at least he wears pants to school and church!

Half the battle is finding brands that consistently make staples like jeans and t-shirts that my boys love. Quality is also super important because boys are twice as hard on clothing than my girls are. Some of the brands we’ve found at Walmart that we continually shop are:

FINDING CLOTHES THAT FIT
One of the most frustrating things about shopping for my boys is that they’re really, really slim. And finding clothes that fit in both length and width is super important. It can’t definitely get tough! But I found these pants by Wonder Nation that are not only soft, but they fit super slim kids as well! We’ve been buying them for over 2 years now and just picked up their jeans as well!

LAYERING FOR FALL
If your boys are like mine, it’s rare that they just want a t-shirt under a winter jacket. They typically like to layer and build warmth with each one. That’s why we pick out sweatshirts and long sleeve shirts in fall! They’re perfect for layering, provide that next-level warmth when a winter jacket is way too warm, and can be easily taken off when they get warm.

No matter who you’re shopping for, Walmart has so many great options for fall. I may have snagged myself some fur-lined sandals that I will live in all winter and some sweats myself! But that’s my reward for a job well done!
