The weather finally feels like we are officially headed into summer and I don’t know about you, but my family has been enjoying getting outside more! Spring and summer mean so many things for us: biking, hiking, off-roading (in the beast.. Did you see those stories!), running, swimming, lake and pool days, you name it! I swear every time I share some outdoorsy thing, you guys flood my DMs with questions on where they come from.. so I thought I’d make one big post since most of our adventure stuff comes from Backcountry!
If it were up to me, my spare time (haha, what even is that?!) would be spent by a lake or pool enjoying the sunshine! Backcountry has all my next-to-water relaxation day needs. Goldie would also appreciate a low-key summer with next to no travel or adventures that require movement.. but she’s not going to get her way there if I have anything to do with it.
This YETI backpack is one of Braun’s favorite things. It has enough room to hold more than a day’s worth of snacks and drinks, plus it’s leakproof so when I’m carrying it around it’s not dripping down my back. The backpack straps make it super convenient for when we are walking a little bit to get to the lake. It distributes the weight evenly plus I can still carry towels and other stuff we need! Really love this tote bag for carrying everything else, plus it’s water resistant.
I love the textures on this hat and the detail on the brim. I also have this one. It’s perfect for lake or pool days in St. George and also for our hikes since there isn’t a ton of tree coverage from the sun down there. They’re one size fits all but they are a comfortable fit and have the adjustable chin strap on both – and will work for large heads!
This tank comes in a couple of colors and hits perfectly with my favorite high rise shorts! This one is also super cute.
This dress.. guys when I tell you it’s so good, I really mean it’s SO good. It has a built in bra & shorts so I literally just have to wear this! It’s got a built-in onesie so it holds in my stomach too. It’s so dang comfortable and is great for almost everything we do outside.. Hiking or running and throw on a cardigan & it even looks great for daily wear. I’m wearing a small here, it fits TTS. I love that it provides the support I need without being super fitted.

SUMMER CLOTHING FAVORITES:
It should come to absolutely no surprise that I love Backcountry and their selection of Ultraboosts. These are hands down my favorite sneaker. They are ridiculously comfortable and look good on your legs. Like they flatter the ankle… it’s a thing! I have a bunch of pairs.. These gray ones are a recent find at Backcountry but they have many cute colors (including my fave ash pea/ftwr white/halivo color.. aka the pink ones, haha) and Backcountry carries both men and women’s! I size down a half size in these and order the 7.5.
Speaking of shoes.. how many pairs for summer is too many!? Asking for a friend, obviously.. Backcountry has a great collection of women’s shoes including so many of my tried and true favorites.
They carry these Birkenstocks. I love the gold buckle on them. I wear a size 8 or 39 in all of my birks.
Love these Tevas[RC1] so much. Super comfortable and can be hosed off if they get dirty. Emery, Anisten and I all have pairs. They came out with a bunch of cute colors this summer. True to size!
These Chaco Chillos come in women, men & kids sizes. They actually have really good arch support which I feel like is rare for a sandal and look at that purple color! Backcountry carries a sport version that has a strap around the heel too. Bonus that you can hose these off too… are you seing a pattern?!
You guys know how much I love my vans! These tan ones are so cute, I love this color. Vans are true to size – and these are on sale!!
