CAST IRON PAN

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, so I figured I’d share a couple of my favorite recipes and cute and helpful items for building the perfect Mother’s Day brunch spread, or gift ideas for the mamas in your life! 🙂

CAST IRON POT | CAST IRON PAN

These are seriously the CUTEST pans.. The detail is so stunning.. The gold handles, the black edges, gosh I just love these. They’re enamel coated cast iron.. can you even believe it!? Cute cast iron is now a thing!! They’re really heavy duty + the size of them is awesome. The bigger one is the same size of the pots I have at home and the wider, skinnier one is perfect for making my favorite spinach and artichoke dip. I’m on the second round of making it in here this week! I’ll share my recipe below..

Obviously ignore the 9×13″ pan and replace with the round cast iron dish from The Home Depot!

KITCHENAID MIXER | MIXING BOWLS | SPOON

Mix all ingredients together except the artichoke hearts and spinach.. The Home Depot has this set of mixing bowls that stack together for easy storage + this set of kitchen utensils! I love silicone utensils + it won’t damage any of the pans at all if you use them on it!

At the end, gently fold in the spinach + artichoke hearts.

MIXING BOWLS | SPOON | CAST IRON PAN

Transfer to your cast iron pan + cover with cheese! Bake for 25 minutes, until bubbly and browned. I absolutely loved cooking it in this pan.. for one, cast iron holds heat for sooo long – so when this was set out, it was still warm until the whole dip was gone basically! We served it on Easter for my family. For two, I didn’t feel like it needed to be transferred into a different dish, which I usually do. This pan is cute enough to serve from!!

time to eat! 🙂

Check out other kitchen items I use regularly that are available at The Home Depot:

CHARCUTERIE BOARD + SERVING UTENSILS | WHITE BOWL (came from this set)

I’ll share the recipe for this amazing toffee dip next, but first I need to talk about this serving board!! It is so cute + I absolutely love that the utensils next inside of it when not being used.. You can do so many things with a board like this, Emery LOVES to make charcuterie boards. This time we just went simple with the toffee dip, apples + Nilla wafers as a quick snack for the family over spring break. When we went to The Home Depot to pick one out, we also debated on this one which is also super cute and a square vs. rectangular. It also has the slide out drawer to store it’s utensils. They’re both linked below.. tap the photo to shop!

It’s actually a pretty simple recipe! It would be simple to just mix everything together in a kitchenaid mixer, which you can also grab from The Home Depot! In the Kitchenaid, you beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla.. and then fold in the toffee bits! 🙂 It’s sooo yummy.

MIXING BOWLS | CHARCUTERIE BOARD + SERVING UTENSILS | WHITE BOWL (came from this set)

I opted to use a hand mixer for this recipe this time, though! This KitchenAid Cordless Handheld Blender is amazing (and I bet you any mom would love to open it on May 8th!!).. I used the whisk attachment to beat everything together.. Since there’s no baking or anything, you can just pop it in a serving bowl (the one in the photo came from this dish set) and fill the charcuterie board with all the things wanted to dip in it! The serving utensils nest right inside the board itself and are great quality.

DINNERWARE SET

This is the dish set that the serving bowl on the charcuterie board came from.. it’s pretty inexpensive for all 12 pieces that it comes with. It’s a really pretty neutral beige with a hint of a greenish sage in them + you know I’m a sucker for green! This set would make a great Mother’s Day gift!

I also grabbed some cereal storage containers for St. George that I have at home and love! The OXO brand has a ton of different food storage options that I really like.. I’ll link some below!

NINJA AIR FRYER OVEN | KITCHENAID MIXER

If you really are shopping for Mother’s Day Gifts, or are looking for ideas what to tell your spouse you want — these are a couple of items in my kitchen that I use ALL of the time and are available at Home Depot! Other really amazing gifts would be any of the cricut machines.. This would make nearly any mama happy + would give her a fun little hobby if she wanted!! My girls and I have loved having one of these. The Home Depot has some of them and their accessories in bundles and on sale for Mother’s Day.. all of the images below can be clicked on to take you directly to the product page 🙂
