Patriots, Fireworks, & Watermelon – My 4th of July Picks!

Showing your pride on the Fourth of July involves one important tradition (besides the barbecue, of course): dressing you and your family in head-to-toe red, white, and blue! For 24 hours, everyone is draped in American flags, stars, stripes, and every variation of patriotic wear!

While some are fans of matching shirts for the entire family, I’m more of the “everyone looks patriotic but wear something that reflects your style”. My kids are all at the age where they definitely have opinions about what they wear and the 4th of July is a good excuse to really let them show their personality and show our pride for our country!

There is a HUGE part of me that wishes they made little girl clothes and shoes in big girl sizes! Target basically hit it out of the park this 4th of July with swimsuits, clothes, and shoes for girls. They have a great mix of rompers (which my girls love), dresses, and fun novelty tees that will really help them get into the holiday spirit!

Old Navy also put on such a fun Americana collection that totally captures the 4th of July spirit and has prices that seriously can’t be beaten! Plus, when you spend $50, you get unlimited flip flops for the whole family for $1 a pair! It’s important that we kind of check off the list when it comes to the 4th: water shoes, swimsuits, patriotic gear, etc. That way I can ensure that my family really enjoys the day because necessities are taken care of.

My boys are basically going to live in swimtrunks the entire day. From parades to fireworks, they are going to get wet all day long! I think what I liked most about the boys clothing were all the graphic tees:

The other items that really impressed me were the swimsuits for the boys – so cute, very red, white, and blue, and inexpensive enough that I can grab them a few pairs without breaking the bank:

I didn’t feel that there were as many options for men as there are for the rest of us, but the options that are there are really good – and a lot of options for a lot of different styles. Whether your guy likes collared shirts or prefers to throw on a t-shirt or trunks, there are a LOT of options!

You know this is the part I seriously couldn’t wait to get to because the options are sooooooo good! I literally couldn’t narrow it down so I put my top favorites below!
