Better late than never, right? Man, August was a doozy and September has followed the trend as well. We literally just spent the craziest 3 days in St. George and I’m so ready for the kids to be back in school today. Braun has been gone for work the past week and any vacation time without him always is a little crazy. Throw in my family and a million kids and I’m just glad we all survived!
But I know this post has been promised for a few weeks now so I finally sat down and put it toegthe. Here are the top 10 most purchased items for August!!!
1) The unspoken rules of pajamas is that you sleep better if they’re cute, right?
I picked these up when we were in St. George because I needed something to sleep in and I absolutely love this leopard set! I’m a big fan of matching tops and bottoms – especially with the button-down feature.
So put down your high school cheer shirt with pit stains and peeling vinyl letters. Place your husband’s basketball shorts back in the drawer and slowly walk away. There IS a better way to do jammies. And this little cheetah number is it. I’ve been buying the same silky smooth, luscious pajamas from Nordstrom for years, and while I still love those, I love the price tag of these cute PJs a whole lot better. 2) BACK TO SCHOOL
Back to school was a bit rough this year but at least my kids have a cute method of transportation for all their school stuff since lockers got banned! This backpack is perfect – cute and trendy but not eyeroll-inducing and durable without looking like I’m about to send my kids on a hike down the Pacific Coast Trail!

3) THE ULTIMATE CURL CREAM/JELLY/GEL…YOU DECIDE
If you have curly hair, then you understand the struggle! Emery has been testing products made specifically for curly hair over the past year. She’s loved some and absolutely hated others. Why? 5) Workout but make it fashun!
I don’t even know what that means – haha. But seriously, I don’t want to look like a schlep when I’m working out. The sweat is bad enough. And if I have to go somewhere or see anybody I know, I definitely want to look cute! I mentioned this skirt a few weeks ago and you guys went and completely sold them out in 2 of their 4 colorways!
This is a tennis skirt but it has built-in spankies (biker shorts) underneath the skirt. It also has super cute ruffles in the back and is the perfect length. 6) MOM JEANS
Yes, I wear mom jeans. And I’m dang proud of this pair – they fit really well and are the perfect crop length. They’re super comfortable and have a nice mid-rise at the waist.
I got this shirt from Walmart and for $9, I’m super happy with it. Both Target and Walmart have been knocking it out of the park when it comes to basics! Here are some other basics I’m loving as well:

7) This is the item that will probably never not be on this list
This one doesn’t even surprise me anymore. If you’ve ever shaved a day in your life you know what a complete headache it is. Even those of us who have had laser hair removal still have to shave on occasion and it never gets easier or more convenient. But for $9 bucks, you can get a super cute ergonomic handle, 4 blades, and a cute little magnetic holder that keeps your razors up and out of the way. Plus it makes it so the moisturizing charcoal barrier around the blades doesn’t get goopy.

8) The Best Bra You’ll Ever Not Realize You’re Wearing
When it comes to over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders, you guys know I take them pretty seriously. As should ALL women! You gotta protect those babies! So when my favorite came back in stock, I immediately had to share it with all of you!

If you’re looking for a great eyeshadow primer, look no further! I’ve used this Mac pot in the color painterly and I use it on my eyelid before applying eyeshadow!

I lov that you guys are loving TULA as much as I do! Their products are chock full of probiotic!
