It’s that time of year where the sun sets earlier and the crisp air means cozy nights inside become a must. One of my favorite things is to snuggle with my kids and read books in their pajamas at night. But if you’re like me, you’ve struggled to find that you and your little ones can agree on. Either you’ve got one that sleeps really hot or one that gets too cold. Don’t even get me started on cartoon pajamas…

But as my boys grew out of their old pajamas this year, I have found the search for comfortable, quality, and good-looking pajamas for the best part of the last year!
If you’ve had the same experience (lack of good pajamas!), you’re in luck. I have done my research and found some brands I really love and that my boys love as well. It’s hard to convince boys to wear pajamas that aren’t covered in Spider Man or some other superhero! I’m not the only one who’s been in this boat, right? haha
What’s a girl got to do to get some boy’s clothing not covered in cartoons?!? Sometimes I feel like it’s the only options we get!
But as I said, I did my research, and I found some amazing brands and pajamas that I think your boys (and you) are going to love! And if you have younger/older littles or girls, keep reading. These brands have multiple sizes and are unisex!

I knew I wanted to find pajamas that were super comfy for my boys and that has a little room to grow – they grow so fast sometimes and I hate buying essentials every few months!
My Criteria
Here is my other criteria:
- Comfortable, safe fabric – I want my boys to be comfortable but I also want them in safe clothing. I’ve read way too many stories about unsafe fabric for children’s pajamas.
- Aesthetics – I wanted designs that I liked and the kids would too. Solids or modern prints? Yes. Giant racecars in sneakers? No thank you
- Fit – For this particular time of year, I was looking for 2-piece pajamas that fit close to the body

My top 2 choices utilize modal. It’s 50% more resistant to shrinkage than cotton and tends to pill less as a result of the strength of the longer fibers and lower friction on the surface. Modal also doesn’t lose its shape after washing! It’s super soft, safe for kids and babies, will not become misshapen when washed due to the strength of the fibers.

The entire list is good – but I definitely have my favorites! The top two on this list are probably my boy’s favorites and then equal across the board below. They’re all under 20 bucks and they all wash up like a dream! So you can buy these without any anxiety and ‘accidentally’ knock those PJ Masks into the scrap bin 😉
