SWEATSHIRT | SHORTS | SANDALS
I’m over here manifesting spring, is anyone else with me?? I figure the more I wear spring clothes, eventually, the weather will catch up with my trend… I ordered a bunch of stuff before Hawaii hoping they’d be here in time (ok.. I ordered like the day or two before, I knew better haha!) from Saks OFF 5TH.. have you heard of them?! It’s Where Fashion Takes OFF! You can get designer/name brand clothing for a fraction of the price at normal retailers. It’s perfect for a complete wardrobe overhaul or just refreshing for a new season. Plus, they’re having a Buy More, Save More event now through the 27th. You can get 15% off $100+ and 20% off $250+ (excludes clearance) using code MORE.. Here’s what was in my recent Saks OFF 5TH haul:
I actually grabbed this cute Fate Floral-Print Blouson Dress in multiple colors and tried a couple of sizes to see what fit the best. This one is the medium. I would definitely stay true to size (I like the way the small fits better), but if you’re taller – it would be better to size up for the extra length, and wouldn’t look bulky! This is the “rust multi” color, and I’ll show the other one next!
These Dolce Vita Gabbie Braided Double Strap Sandals are SO dang comfy, and I love the multi colored bands — in neutrals, my fave! They also come in all black. They’re getting really low stock though, I’m bummed!! Snag them while you can.
Here’s how the true-to-size (small) in the Fate Floral-Print Blouson Dress in the “nude multi” color fits me. I really prefer this size, but as you can tell, the medium wasn’t that much more bulky on me at all. It gave me a bit more length overall, but I didn’t like the additional length in the sleeves. I love how the small fits in sleeve length, especially because it allows my cute jewelry to peek through!
I actually grabbed these Dolce Vita Isac Crocodile-Embossed Studded Sandals in both colors! I’ll show you the black ones later in the blog post, but I love them! They’re super comfortable, and way cute!
KNIT BLAZER | DRESS | SANDALS
I’m not really one to get fancy anymore, that ended with my boutique days for the most part.. It’s been like 3 whole years since I’ve had to show up anywhere consistently, except for, for my kids. It’s been awesome. However, spring brings a lot of cute little events around here and the weather is still a bit cool. This Max Studio Scuba Knit Draped Open-Front Jacket matches this dress perfectly and is SO cute! The material is super comfortable and I love that the sleeves don’t look all bunched up in there. Big fan of this purchase. The collar part falls really perfect, even after being washed.. it is flappy, and not stitched there and look how nicely it lays! It’s a stretchier material.
SWEATSHIRT | SHORTS | SANDALS
Remember last year when I totally fell in love with these Madewell Roadtripper Denim Biker Shorts?!?! I found them on Saks OFF 5TH for an even better price!! Of course, I grabbed another pair because they’re my favorite longer length short. I have them rolled a couple times in this picture, so if you’re taller the full length is still perfect. They’re actually comfortable and I think they’re way flattering.
This Rails Alice Eyelet Sweatshirt is also so cute. The eyelets ARE see through so you’ll probably want to wear a tank or a sports bra or something under there to cover the holes a bit more. Or if a normal bra is good enough for you, go for it! The vintage black color is way cute. It almost pulls a grayish purple.
I got this ridiculously cute romper, and it sold out! 🙁 I’m SAD about that. Here is a close match.. Saks Fifth Avenue Frayed Shirt Romper.
It is officially spring, so I totally give you permission to save big bucks and refresh your spring looks at Saks OFF 5TH! Don’t forget that you can get designer/name brand clothing for a fraction of the price at normal retailers. Plus, they’re having a Buy More, Save More event now through the 27th. Code: MORE will get you an additional 15% off $100+ and 20% off $250+ (excludes clearance)!
Happy Spring!
