Let’s talk closets… how many of you have an overwhelming amount of clothes that you don’t wear or even grab for anymore? Everyone here? Me too. Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of searching for staple pieces that I can mix and match to wear multiple ways.
I headed off to JCPenney for some potential vacation contenders and came home with some cute stuff! I wanted tops I could wear with any bottoms, and bottoms I could wear with virtually any top. We will be traveling quite a bit this summer so having less to carry back and forth will be beneficial for my sanity + Braun’s when he has to carry all of our stuff to and from the car, haha!
I settled on this skirt (it also comes in blue denim) with this top for outfit number one! The skirt is high waisted and runs true to size. I’m wearing a 4! It’s high rise and longer length. Hallelujah. The top is also true to size, I’m wearing a small. I love the button detail, it’s a thinner material but it’s not sheer. It does have a bit of a cropped fit – but I love that with high rise bottoms!

I love the fit of this shirt. It’s super flowy but not baggy or boxy. Looks cute tucked or untucked! Would also look great with jeans. I’m wearing a small.
Do you ever find a pair of shoes that you love and buy every color!? Haha, that’s me! These shoes are SO dang cute and comfortable also!
Grabbed this shirt and these shorts for both boys. Jetter boy wouldn’t model them for me, little stinker! Dash nailed it though, I mean just look how cute he is! Not pictured are these shoes, which both boys have and love. They’re comfortable and they can do all the boy things and I can just hose them off at the end of the night. Seriously though, even with the boys’ shorts, I can pair them with any tee – and the tee I can pair with any shorts… also super handy when they pick out their own outfits to have things that mix and match and do it well, haha.
