Top Links: July

And just like that, there are only 2 weeks of summer left…and honestly? I’m so sad to see it go.

This one was meant to be slower than past summers. No big vacations, more time spent at home, and even Braun and I skipped major traveling.

But it was just as busy (maybe even more?). And seriously twice as fun.

We’ve been to family reunions, cabins in the mountains, out on the Razr…we’ve been busy!

Braun and I even hung out with 25 Million bees and lived to tell the tale! Seriously, this was a moment that required me to be very brave! But with everything that’s been going on with the Nordstrom Sale to summer specials – this month has been BUSY!

This month I shared with you how to achieve the perfect summer glow without spending all your time in the sun. The main things? It’s gotta be streak-free and easy to do. So I did my homework and I tried a ton of brands. I put them in a slider below but the one I absolutely fell in love with is this one from Jergens. Skipping my normal routine and using a glove helped give me a bullet-proof faux glow.

You guys went nuts over Braun’s 4th of July look this year! From patriotic Chucks to his flag-print Apple watch band, this guy represents! I wasn’t able to find a link for his flag-pocket polo but it’s Travis Matthew. This is the ultimate hip-dad brand and Braun rocks it all the time! If you want to check it out, Nordstrom Rack has an awesome selection and even more awesome prices!

I’ve had a lot of questions lately on doggie items and wanted to let you know that I put everything in a blog post a while back and you can shop the slider below!

I got a ton of questions about Emery’s look from our back-to-school post about my top 5 tips for BTS shopping! Really, we just shop for basics. It really is easier than shopping for trendy items that are out of stock quickly and are out of style immediately after.

Another popular set of links were the ones included in my blog post reviewing the top-recommended lipsticks that are affordable ($10 and under). I found some I absolutely love and I’m  so glad so many of you loved them!

Out of all the ones I tried, SuperStay by Maybelline took top honors! It’s a thick formula that almost feels rubbery, but not in a bad or uncomfortable way, it’s just sort of springy. That doesn’t stop it from going on nicely, and once it’s on, it’s not going anywhere. I know every liquid promises stay-all-day wear, and most of them deliver, but this one is budge-proof in a way that the others just aren’t.

And last but not least, I shared my favorite dry shampoos with you guys and not surprisingly, you’re already huge fans!

But if none of the links you’re looking for are on this list, don’t worry. Last Sunday I spent a good amount of time and compiled ALL the links that you guys asked for into one blog post (it’s MASSIVE!) and I know if you can’t find what you are looking for on this post, you will most definitely find it on this blog post HERE.

So check em out and then check out the list below of this month’s TOP links! We have a few of the usual suspects (things you guys can’t get enough of) and I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few NEW ONES! I think you guys are finally embracing summer! Enjoy!
